I cannot believe David, King of Israel from 1010 - 970 BC, has not yet been given the proper attention!  1 Samuel 16:12 describes him thus: “He was ruddy, had beautiful eyes, and was handsome.”  Not only that, he was a valiant warrior (killing bears, lions and giants!), a poet, a talented musician, and is famous for his affair with a married woman, and the epic drama that ensued from their love.  Hottieeee. Just take a gander at Bernini’s David.  The biting of that lip.  Aggh.
